Following his epic Wireless performance, Davido announces London's O2 Arena show

'Like That' singer will take to the stage in January 2019
Nigerian singer, songwriter and producer Davido has announced a one-off UK show at London's O2 Arena. Tickets go on sale at 10am on Fri 20 Jul.
25-year-old Davido has been working his way up the radar since his 2011 single 'Dami Duro' became a huge hit throughout Nigeria where he currently resides. Most known in the UK for his track 'Like That', the single has received close to 7 million views on Youtube.
Appearing on the lineup at this year's Wireless Festival Davido wowed festival goers with an epic performance as he brought the party to the main stage as part of Saturday's lineup. Davido's work is gaining recognition left, right and centre right now as he was awarded the best international act accolade at the BET Awards this year.
The concert comes as part of Davido's aim to match friend and fellow Afropop singer songwriter Wizkid's sellout numbers at London's O2 earlier this year. The 2018 AfroRepublik concert had its most popular year yet, selling out the 20,000 capacity venue with Wizkid as the headline act. This has spurred Davido on greatly and with all the buzz currently surrounding him he might just be about to achieve his goal.
