The William Hill World Darts Championship is back and bigger than ever. Tickets are on sale now.
Over 16 days, darts fans can enjoy multiple matches as world-class players come together to battle it out for the £400,000 prize money at London's Alexandra Palace. The tournament runs from Thu 13 Dec–Tue 1 Jan 2019.
The world's largest PDC darts tournament is set to have its biggest year yet. A total of 96 competitors have qualified for the event in comparison to 72 from previous years. The increase in players is said to be the biggest development for the tournament since it moved to London's Alexandra Palace a decade ago.
'The William Hill World Darts Championship has become a phenomenon in worldwide sport given its incredible growth in recent years, but this announcement takes the tournament to a whole new level' remarked PDC Chairman Barry Hearn.
Inline with this, six additional sessions have been added to the bill. Spectators can purchase tickets for both afternoon and evening sessions throughout. British favourites that will be attending this year's championships include Phil Taylor, Peter Wright, Adrian Lewis, Dave Chisnall and Gary Anderson.
The World Championship begins Thu 13 Dec 2018 continuing across the festive period before the final takes place on Tue 1 Jan 2019. Tickets are on sale now.
