Musical comic master will perform his first UK stand up shows since 2011
Tim Minchin has announced a huge comeback tour for 2019. Presale tickets for the Back tour will be available at 9am on Wed 5 Sep for those who register via Ticketmaster's verified fan page. General sale tickets go on sale at 10am on Thu 6 Sep.
Minchin's ever growing portfolio of work includes six albums, five live show DVDs and numerous television appearances. He wrote and composed Olivier Award-winning, Tony Award-winning and Grammy Award-nominated show Matilda the Musical which premiered in London's West End In 2011. In 2016 his new musical Groundhog Day, based on the 1993 film, was similarly a huge success and won him a second Olivier Award.
The Back tour kick-starts on Mon 15 Oct 2019 at Regent Theatre in Ipswich, calling at a host of cities including Manchester, Cardiff, Birmingham and Edinburgh before finishing off on Fri 30 Nov at Cliffs Pavilion in Southend.
