Dazzling displays and captivating circus performances will make up the annual Ally Pally Fireworks Festival
Since it opened in 1875, Alexandra Park and Palace has been home to exceptional entertainment and the annual London Firework Festival is no exception. Each year the event features incredible firework displays and theatrics that go above and beyond to provide entertainment suitable for the whole family.
To mark 250 years of circus, Alexandra Park and Palace have collaborated with Bristol-based Cirque Bijou and the Bullzini Family for this year's festival. The spectacular firework display will be followed by an array of performances from circus professionals suspended high above the crowds. The show will be accompanied by a live choir and performed against a backdrop of dancers with illuminated props. Ally Pally's Fireworks Festival takes place on Fri 2 and Sat 3 Nov 2018 and early bird tickets are on sale now.
The ever-expanding event continues to wow audiences year after year and in 2018 attendees can enjoy one of the UK's largest firework displays, world class circus acts, laser shows, an on site Bierkeller, a giant bonfire, live music, a fun fair and much more. The famous ice rink will return for another year and is open for public sessions throughout the day, before transforming into an ice disco at night.
In the StrEATlife area over 50 mouth-watering street food vendors will be dishing out the goodies. Craft beer, mulled wine and cocktails will be pouring making the perfect accompaniment to legendary DJ Norman Jay MBE, who will headline the Friday night. Jay's career has spanned the best part of four decades, and his Good Times Sound System continues to be a winner year after year at Notting Hill Carnival.
This year's Family Zone will offer more food and drink stalls than ever and families are invited to soak up the atmosphere and enjoy entertainment from day through to evening.
Ally Pally's Fireworks Festival takes place on Fri 2 Nov and Sat 3 Nov. Early bird tickets are available now.
