Rod Stewart supports 30th studio album with UK tour

Pop icon to perform at major stadiums in May/June 2019
Sir Rod Stewart has announced a huge UK tour for 2019. The announcement comes in line with the release of his latest studio album Blood Red Roses. Tickets for Rod Stewart Live In Concert go on sale at 9am Fri 21 Sep.
This will be Rod's first UK tour in three years following the success of two sell-out runs in 2016. The 2019 tour kicks off on Fri 31 May at St Mary's Stadium in Southampton before calling at York, Milton Keynes, Ipswich, Wolverhampton and Aberdeen with a final show on Fri 14 Jun at the University of Bolton Stadium.
Rod is known for his rugged signature voice, style and songwriting. Throughout his extensive career he has transcended a wide range of genres, from rock, folk, soul, to R&B and more. Having sold over 200 million records worldwide he is one the best-selling artists in the history of recorded music.
A true music legend, he has created chart-topping albums throughout every decade of his career featuring major hits such as 'Hot Legs', 'Maggie May', 'Da Ya Think I'm Sexy?', 'You're in My Heart', 'Sailing' and 'I Don't Want to Talk About It' amongst an extensive list of others.
His latest record, Blood Red Roses, is due for release on Fri 28 Sep. This will be his 30th studio album and will feature 13-tracks. The live shows promise to be an eclectic mix of classics and hits from his latest release.
