Broadway hit musical Waitress to premiere in London's West End

Based on the 2007 indie classic of the same name, Waitress The Musical has been selling out shows on Broadway since premiering in 2016. The show is set to make it's UK West End premier at the Adelphi Theatre in Feb 2019 and tickets are on sale now.

The plot, originally penned by Adrienne Shelly, is brought to life by a ground-breaking all-female creative team. The show is filled with original music and lyrics by 6-time Grammy® nominee Sara Bareilles (Brave, Love Song), complimented with a book by acclaimed screenwriter Jessie Nelson (I Am Sam) with directed by Tony Award® winner Diane Paulus (Pippin, Finding Neverland). The musical details the life of Jenna, a waitress and specialist pie maker who dreams of escaping her small town and failing marriage. When a baking contest comes to town Jenna see's her chance for a fresh start, if only she can get the perfect recipe. An uplifting celebration of friendship and motherhood unfolds as Jenna summons the strength and courage to change her life.
