Bastille to play five UK shows in 2019 as part of Still Avoiding Tomorrow tour, tickets on sale now

Indie pop outfit will perform in Birmingham, Brighton, Manchester, Glasgow and London
Earlier this week indie pop rockers Bastille announced they will play five shows in the UK in 2019 as part of their Still Avoiding Tomorrow European tour. Tickets for the shows are on sale now.
The band is made up of frontman Dan Smith, keyboardist Kyle Simmons, bassist and guitarist Will Farquarson, and drummer Chris Wood. Since founding in 2010 the four-piece have released two albums, Bad Blood (2013) and Wild World (2016); both of which reached No. 1 in the UK Albums Chart. The band have also won a Brit Award and were nominated for Grammy, MTV Europe and World Music Awards.
For the 2019 tour the band have reduced the number of live shows with the intention of breaking in new material ahead of their third album Doom Days. News of the albums release date has not yet been confirmed.
Speaking of the tour frontman Dan Smith said : "We've spent most of this last year working on loads of new music and touring different versions of our songs, so now we're excited to head back out and revisit more intimate rooms and play a bunch of new songs in the lead up to our new album"
The short tour kick starts on Tue 29 Jan at the O2 Academy in Birmingham. The group will go on to play in Brighton, Manchester and Glasgow before a final night on Sat 9 Feb at the O2 Academy in Brixton.
