Further artists announced for London's Kew Gardens outdoor summer concert series
Returning for its ninth year in 2019, Kew the Music has announced the headline musical acts for its series of festival-style concerts inside the famed Kew Gardens. Joining the previously announced headliner Craig David are Beverley Knight and Billy Ocean on Tue 9 Jul followed by Jools Holland and his Rhythm and Blues Orchestra on Thu 11 Jul and Rick Astley on Sun 14 Jul. Tickets for all shows go on sale at 10am on Fri 7 Dec.
The festival runs from Tue 9–Sun 14 Jul next year with opening acts Beverley Knight and Billy Ocean taking to the stage. Beverley Knight celebrates 25 years in music next year and will be performing hits from her career with accompanying symphony orchestra. Attendees can expect specially arranged versions of tracks like 'Greatest Day', 'Get Up!' and 'Shoulda Woulda Coulda'. Joining her on the day is the distinctive Billy Ocean who will be taking fans back to his 70s and 80s heyday with iconic R&B anthems.

Closing this year's concert series is 80s pop sensation Rick Astley. Over a hugely successful 30 year career, Astley has sold 40 million albums worldwide and returned in 2016 with a new album, 50, followed by this year's record Beautiful Life.
Gates open at 5pm each night and guests are welcome to bring blankets, folding chairs and picnics.
