Group celebrate career and new album with 27-date tour

The Specials have added a new date at London's O2 Forum in Kentish Town to their UK tour. They will perform at the venue on Sat 18 May. Tickets for the show go on sale at 9am on Fri 9 Feb.

Current band members Terry Hall, Lynval Golding and Horace Panter released new album Encore on Fri 1 Feb. The record features new material including opener 'Black Skin Blue Eyes Boys, and notable tracks 'Vote For Me' and 'We Sell Hope'. The second disc features 'The Best of The Specials Live'.

The group announced their anniversary tour last year and due to huge demand, have added a third London date. The newly added date means the trio will perform at 27 venues this spring. The tour comes inline with their 40th year performing as The Specials. The shows promise to be an eclectic mix of fan favourites and new material.
