Band play in Manchester, Glasgow, Bristol, London, Leeds and Nottingham this May
Peter Doherty & The Puta Madres have announced a six-date UK your for May. The show comes as part of the ground's European tour in support of their forthcoming album. Tickets for the show are available from 9am on Fri 1 Mar.
Peter Doherty & The Puta Madres is made up of members, Pete (vocals), Miggles (bass), Miki Beavis (violin), Katia DeVidas (piano/keyboards), Jack Jones (lead guitar) and Rafa (drums). The six-piece are set to release their debut album this on Fri 26 Apr. The group's garage rock sound sees Doherty head back to his roots alongside his ongoing solo project. The band released single 'Who's Been Having You Over' ahead of the album.
The tour kicks off on Sun 5 May at the O2 Academy in Bristol. Pete Doherty returns to Glasgow following a successful solo gig at King Tut's. He surprised fans by announcing a second night at the venue the following day. Both sold out in an instant. Further dates are penned for Leeds, Manchester and Nottingham. The final gig of the UK-leg goes ahead on Sun 12 May in the capital.
