Punk poet heads out on The Luckiest Guy Alive tour in late 2019

John Cooper Clarke has announced three new shows for late 2019. The tour calls at venues in Warwick, London and Oxford this autumn and celebrates the launch of his new book The Luckiest Guy Alive. Tickets go on sale at 10am on Fri 1 Mar.

The performance poet, who hails from Salford, first rose to fame in the punk rock era of the 1970s. John Cooper Clarke released several albums in the late 70s and early 80s and his punk, political poetry has gained him a huge following.

He continues to perform regularly selling out venues across the UK. He is in the midst of a huge UK tour that raps up on Thu 16 May at De La Warr Pavilion in Bexhill On Sea ahead of the new dates.
