Jack Bauer is a musician and he's coming to Glasgow, Manchester and London
Actor and musician Kiefer Sutherland has announced a series of live music shows for 2019. The famed actor turned musician comes to Glasgow, Manchester and London this April. The shows promise to be filled with music, storytelling and are rounded off with a Q&A session.
Sutherland performs Glasgow's at Cottiers on Sun 7 Apr and presale tickets for the shows are available to those who preorder his new album and will be available from 9am on Wed 13 Mar. Tickets for all dates go on general sale at 12pm on Mon 18 Mar.
Sutherland returns to Scotland – a place close to his heart as the birthplace of his grandparents – following a show at the O2 ABC in 2017 and Edinburgh's Queen's Hall in 2018. Following this, he performs at Gorilla in Manchester on Mon 8 Apr and at the Moth Club in London on Tue 9 Apr.
Many fans will remember Kiefer Sutherland for his portrayal of Agent Jack Bauer in the hugely popular drama series 24. For this he garnered an Emmy Award, a Golden Globe Award, two Screen Actors Guild Awards, and two Satellite Awards.
Delving further into his on screen credits, Kiefer is known for roles in films Stand by Me (1986), The Lost Boys (1987), Young Guns (1988), Flatliners (1990), A Time to Kill (1996), Dark City (1998), Phone Booth (2002) to name but a few.
On top of his many achievements as an actor, Sutherland launched his music career in 2016 with debut album Down In A Hole and has been extensively touring ever since. His sound crosses country, rock, blues and Americana and is driven by his gritty vocals. His follow up album, Reckless & Me, is due for release on Fri 26 Apr. The record features new single 'This is How It's Done'.
