Dance duo to perform the most memorable songs and dances from Disney to the Golden Age of Hollywood
Dancing duo Janette Manrara and Aljaž Škorjanec of Strictly Come Dancing fame have announced they will be heading back out on tour in 2020 with their brand new show Remembering The Oscars. Presale tickets are available at 10am on Wed 4 Sep. General sale begins at 10am on Fri 6 Sep.
Janette and Aljaž toured in 2017 and 2019 with hit shows Remembering Fred and Remember The Movies shows. Now the duo are back and taking their show across the UK from March to May 2020. The pair will be supported by a cast of live singers and dancers, bringing famous film scenes and songs to life with dazzling choreography and a spectacular set including an LED screen streaming cinema's most iconic moments.
The show promises to be unique rollercoaster ride through some of the most successful, memorable and Oscar-winning films of all time from Disney favourites to the Golden Ages of Hollywood and beyond. Audiences can enjoy contemporary numbers from the likes of Lady Gaga, Adele and more paired with classics from Burt Bacharach, Rodgers & Hammerstein and Irvin Berlin among others.
The 32-date UK tour begins on Sun 22 Mar at Waterside Theatre in Aylesburycalling at most major cities with a six-night stop off at the Peacock Theatre in London along the way on before ending on Sun 3 May at St David's Hall in Cardiff.
