Dr. Hook confirmed for two summer shows at Glasgow's Kelvingrove Bandstand

Dennis Locorriere and co announce first live shows since being forced to cancel 2019 dates

Dr. Hook have announced two open-air shows at Glasgow's Kelvingrove Bandstand in Kelvingrove Park next summer. The band, fronted by Dennis Locorriere, take to the stage on Sat 20 and Sun 21 Jun 2020. Tickets for the Sat 20 Jun show and the Sun 21 Jun show are available at 9am on Mon 4 Nov.

Due to health reasons, the American band were sadly forced to cancel a run of sold-out dates as part of an extensive 50th anniversary world tour earlier this year.

In a video message to the band's loyal Scottish fans, Locorriere said: 'It's been quite a strange year for me folks. I was so gutted that the band and I had to cancel so many shows. I was particularly heartbroken about not coming to see all my friends in Glasgow at Kelvingrove in June. We have such a great time there, you guys are wonderful.

'But the good news is that in 2020, on June 20 and June 21 we will be back for two shows! The band is geared up and ready to go and we'll see you there!'

Dr. Hook perform at the Kelvingrove Bandstand on Sat 20 and Sun 21 Jun 2020. Tickets for the Sat 20 Jun show and the Sun 21 Jun show are available at 9am on Mon 4 Nov.
