Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds, Supergrass, Jack Savoretti to headline Bristol Sounds 2020

First wave of acts announced for annual concert series at Lloyds Amphitheatre
Bristol Sounds returns in 2020 to transform the city's Canons Marsh Amphitheatre into a five-day music extravaganza. The concert series is set to run for its fourth edition next year, running from Wed 24– Sun 28 Jun. Tickets for Bristol Sounds go on sale at 9am on Fri 29 Nov.
Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds return to Bristol on Wed 24 Jun to play at the Amphitheatre. Noel has recently released his new single 'Wandering Star' from his forthcoming EP Blue Moon Rising. The indie icon returns to the city following his headline set at The Downs Bristol back in 2018. Australian indie electro-pop outfit Confidence Man will support Noel on the day with more acts to be announced.
On Thu 25 Jun, Supergrass take the stage. The Britpop four-piece reunited in September of this year, marking it with a surprise performance at the annual Pilton Party at Glastonbury. They also announced a comeback tour for spring. Fans can expect to hear pop masterpieces like 'Alright', 'Lenny', 'Going Out', 'Sun Hits The Sky', 'Pumping On Your Stereo', 'Moving' and 'Grace' at Bristol Sounds next June.
Saturday is shaping up nicely for the concert-series organisers who are excited to announce an all-day bill running from 12pm-11pm. The day has been donned A Beautiful Day Out and will be headlined and curated by the English folk-rocker The Levellers. Joining them are local Pilton legends Reef, perennial festival favourites Goldie Lookin Chain, Scottish three-piece Peat & Diesel and Gaz Brookfield & The Company of Thieves.
The series wraps up on Sun 28 Jun with a headline set from Jack Savoretti who recently put out his sixth album Singing to Strangers which topped the UK album chart. More acts are to be announced in the coming months.
