Motown legends bring the hits to the UK next October

Motown legends the Four Tops and the Temptations last toured the UK together back in 2018 and return to do it all over again in 2020. Both groups will co-headline six shows throughout October/November closing with a night at the O2 Arena in London on Sun 8 Nov. Tickets for the shows go on sale at 9am on Fri 6 Dec

Together the Four Tops and the Temptations epitomise the iconic sounds of Motown that took the world by storm back in the 60s. The Four Tops' immense catalogue of hits includes 27 UK Top 40 singles such as 'I Can't Help Myself', 'Walk Away Renee', 'Standing in the Shadows of Love', 'It's All In The Game' and the 1966 No. 1 hit 'Reach Out (I'll Be There).

The Temptations were the first Motown group to ever win a Grammy Award back in 1969 before going on to win a further two, including the Lifetime Achievement Award. They were commended for their contribution to shaping the sounds of Motown, soul and R&B music. Across 43 albums the group have achieved 19 Top 40 Hits including well known songs 'My Girl', 'Papa Was a Rolling Stone' ,'I'm Gonna Make You Love Me' and many more.

The 2020 co-headline shows from the Four Tops and the Temptations will no doubt be an exciting showcase of the genre from two groups that helped define it.

The Four Tops and The Temptations

A double-bill of Motown veterans. Few of the original members survive (with The Temptations alone having had at least 20 different members pass through their ranks over the years), but the songs – from 'Get Ready' to 'Reach Out I'll Be There' – most certainly do.
