Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees bring the noise to Manchester, London, Glasgow, Leeds and Birmingham
Deep Purple have confirmed a five-date UK tour for October 2020. The English rockers kick things off on Fri 2 Oct at Manchester Arena before shows in London, Glasgow, Leeds and Birmingham. Tickets for the shows go on sale at 10am on Fri 6 Dec.
Since forming in 1968, Deep Purple have put out 20 albums, bagged numerous accolades from Rock Innovator (Classic Rock Awards) to World's Loudest Band (Guinness World Records) and in 2016 were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame for their contributions to rock music. Tracks 'Smoke on the Water', 'Highway Star', 'Black Night' and 'Perfect Strangers' are but a few of many huge hits from the group's immense discography.
Deep Purple – made up of remaining members Ian Paice, Roger Glover, Ian Gillan, Steve Morse and Don Airey – continues to tour extensively, having brought The Long Goodbye tour to the UK back in 2017. It seems that the tour was far from the end for the five-piece, as they prepare to do it all over again in 2020 with arena shows set for October.
