Old Royal Naval College hosts Lewis Capaldi, Lauryn Hill, McFly, John Barrowman and more next July
The latest instalment of the Greenwich Music Time concert series is set to run at the Old Royal Naval College throughout July 2020. The headline acts have been confirmed with more artists to follow. Presale tickets for Greenwich Music Time are on sale now ahead of the general sale at 9am on Fri 13 Dec.
Greenwich Music Time is the annual live music series that hosts some of the world's biggest artists at the Old Royal Naval College, which overlooks the Thames in London. The event returns for its sixth instalment in 2020. Leading the newly-announced line-up is the multi-award-winning soprano Sarah Brightman, who headlines the first night of the series on Mon 6 Jul. She released her most recent album Hymn back in 2018.
Tony Award-winner Lea Salonga joins John Barrowman for a night of hits from the musicals and more on Tue 7 Jul. Lea Salonga has starred in numerous acclaimed productions over the years including Miss Saigon, for which she won her Tony Award, as well as Cats, Annie, Les Misérables and more. She is also the singing voice of the heroine in Disney's Mulan and Jasmine from Aladdin. Similarly, Barrowman has spent 30 years on stage, singing in shows like The Phantom of The Opera, Sunset Boulevard and most recently La Cage Aux Folles, making the duo a perfect match for a co-headline show.
On Thu 9 Jul, Scottish record-breaking singer-songwriter Lewis Capaldi will bring hits from his debut recordDivinely Uninspired to a Hellish Extent to the Old Royal Naval College, and Lauryn Hill will dive into her extensive back catalogue for a Fri 10 Jul show. McFly announced their comeback earlier this year and are racking up the live appearances, including a slot at Greenwich Music Time on Sat 11 Jul.
