Alanis Morissette adds London, Glasgow and Leeds dates to rescheduled tour

Canadian-American songstress returns to performing live in late 2021

Alanis Morissette will perform new music, as well as old hits, at venues across the UK in late 2021. The tour was originally planned for 2020 but, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, has been rescheduled for a second time. To meet demand three extra shows in Leeds, Glasgow and London have been added to the tour. Tickets for the newly announced dates are available from 10am on Friday 4 June.

Alanis Morissette found fame back in the 90s with her third studio album Jagged Little Pill. The record, which was released in 1995, topped the charts in thirteen countries and, having sold over 33 million copies worldwide, remains one of the best-selling albums of all time.

The 13-track record features well-known and somewhat immortal hits 'All I Really Want', 'You Oughta Know', 'Hand in my Pocket' and of course, 'Ironic'. The Canadian-American singer was nominated for nine Grammy Awards in the same year and took home five accolades including Album of the Year.

Fast-forward to 2020, 25 years since the release of Jagged Little Pill, and Morissette released her ninth album Such Pretty Forks in the Road. Finally, in 2021 UK fans will get a chance to hear new music and old hits live in venues across the country.
