Group mark the return of the iconic venue as the first major music act in over two years to perform at the stadium

Westlife will be the first act to perform at Wembley stadium as it reopens to the public after closure due to the Covid-19 pandemic. To mark the occasion the group have added a second show to the bill and will now perfom on Saturday 22 August following the previously announced sold out date on Friday 21 August. Tickets for the new date are available from 10am on Friday 26 March.

Speaking of the upcoming shows Shane, Nicky, Mark and Kian told ITV's Lorraine 'this is a historic moment. Not only is it a huge moment for Westlife, it is a massive event for live music all over the world. This is a once-in-a-lifetime experience and we cannot wait to be back on stage. Our two nights at Wembley Stadium will be bigger and more spectacular than anything we've done before. These will be our greatest ever shows in the UK. The Wembley weekend is going to be a massive celebration. It will be full of surprises and special guests on both nights. It is not to be missed.'

Westlife will be supported by All Saints & James Morrison on Friday 21 August and All Saints & Anne-Marie on Saturday 22 August.
