Disney's The Lion King to hit Bristol for five-week run: how to get tickets

The classic story will be performed at Bristol's Hippodrome Theatre from February

Disney's The Lion King has announced a five-week run at Bristol's Hippodrome Theatre, with shows starting on Thursday 17 February.

Tickets for the shows go on sale at 10am on Friday 24 September. Check the bottom of this article to sign up for an email reminder half an hour before tickets go on sale.

Previously performed on stage in Bristol in a sell-out season in 2019, Disney's The Lion King uses a cast of 50 actors to tell the epic tale of lion Simba as he journeys to become the King Of High Rock.

Featuring familiar faces Rafiki, Timon and Pumbaa, this is a visual spectacular with all your favourite songs from the film and a host of originals composed specially for this show, including 'I Just Can't Wait to Be King', 'The Circle of Life', 'Endless Night' and 'Shadow Land'.

This promises to be an unforgettable trip through the Serengeti for all in attendance, so grab your tickets on Friday before they sell out.
