Featuring Charli XCX, Gerry Cinnamon, Franz Ferdinand and more

If you want to be drenched in a tidal wave of hipper than hip, trendier than trendy musical artists, then boy have we got a ticketing article for you. The events on sale this week are crammed with singers and bands at the zenith of fashion, the height of cool, the pinnacle of popular artistry… we've also got Gerry Cinnamon.

Joking aside, there's no shortage of fantastic live acts to splurge some cash on this week, from pop's reigning queen to jazz's unashamed champion, and Cinnamon's joyously populous singalong anthems. Tickets for all the acts listed below will sell out fast, so buy ASAP to avoid disappointment.

Charli XCX

Pop's most exciting songwriter Charli XCX has announced a UK tour for 2022 in support of her new album Crash. We obsessively played her last album how i'm feeling now, a series of lockdown-influenced club bangers, at List HQ and can't wait to see her dominate the stage with her trademark wild dance moves and soaring vocals.

Tickets for Charli XCX's UK dates go on sale at 10am on Friday 12 November. Click here for performance dates and tickets.

Gerry Cinnamon

Scotland's favourite heavily accented troubadour Gerry Cinnamon has added an extra date at Hampden Park to his tour in 2022. Arguably one of the more baffling stadium acts on the circuit, Cinnamon's no-frills setup of a strumming guitar and likeable lyrics has made him one of the most successful indie acts on the scene today. His fans worship his song-craft, and you can't say fairer than that.

Tickets for Gerry Cinnamon's extra UK date go on sale at 9am on Friday 12 November. Click here for performance dates and tickets.

Khruangbin

Hipster friendly noisemakers Khruangbin have announced a handful of dates in the UK as part of the 2022 European tour. The band's patchwork quilt of hardened funk, Latin jams, dub beats and pretty much any other genre they can get their mitts on have gained Khruangbin a cult following the world over, and we can see why. The perfect gigs for vibing out to.

Tickets for Khruangbin's UK shows go on sale at 9am on Friday 12 November. Click here for performance dates and tickets.

In It Together Festival

The inaugural In It Together Festival in Wales will kick off for three days next year, with Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds as the event's stand-out headlining act. Joining Gallagher at the festival will be Tinie Tempah, Editors, Roger Sanchez, Scouting For Girls, Two Door Cinema Club and more over in a long weekend that looks set to tear Port Talbot a new one.

Franz Ferdinand

Glam-rocking Glaswegians Franz Ferdinand have announced a greatest hits album and a tour for next year, both of which are wittily called Hits To The Head. It's easy to forget just how many massive tunes Franz have produced in 20 years, but with 'Take Me Out', 'This Fire', 'Ulysses' and more to their name, these shows promise to make any former skinny jeans-wearing indie kid dewy eyed with nostalgia.

Tickets for Franz Ferdinand's greatest hits tour go on sale at 10am on Friday 12 November. Click here for performance dates and tickets.

Robert Glasper

Simultaneously one of the most successful and least well-known names on this list, jazz pianist extraordinaire Robert Glasper has announced two nights at the KOKO in London next April. The multi-Grammy award winner is a pure master of his craft, blending jazz effortlessly with rap and R'n'B in songs that are expansive and richly textured. We recommend treating yourself to a ticket for an invigorating night out.

Tickets for Robert Glasper's dates in London go on sale at 10am on Friday 12 November. Click here for performance dates and tickets.
