Featuring Justin Bieber, Tears For Fears, Status Quo and more

In this week's article, we'll encounter a band for every age group. On one end of the spectrum there's Status Quo, who performed 'Whatever You Want' at the first reading of the Old Testament. On the other there's Justin Bieber, who is medically still a foetus.

Such is the broad and beautiful world of gigging, in which there's something for everyone. This week we've got bright and unabashed pop, propulsive power rock, cult comedy and the greatest surf rock group of all time.

Remember – tickets for these events will sell out, so buy now to avoid disappointment.

Justin Bieber

TikTok's reigning child king Justin Bieber has announced a massive run of UK arena shows in 2023 as part of his Justice World Tour. The 'Yummy' sensation, who miraculously didn't fade into obscurity after his voice broke, has become the paradigm of the 'child star come good' in recent years, evolving musically without shunning the fans who loved his earlier hits. This one = guaranteed sell out.

Tickets for Justin Bieber's UK arena tour go on sale at 10am on Friday 19 November. Click here for performance dates and tickets.

Tears For Fears

Fans of 80s pop, strap yourselves in – Tears For Fears have announced a wealth of shows for 2022 in support of their new album The Tipping Point. We'll be honest, we put on their latest single 'The Tipping Point' expecting to hear a Radio 2-friendly hit and instead discovered a creeping synth banger with more than a hint of baroque majesty. If the rest of their new album can conjure a similar atmosphere, we might buy some tickets ourselves.

Tickets for Tears For Fears' 2022 UK tour go on sale at 9am on Friday 19 November. Click here for performance dates and tickets.

Imagine Dragons

Inordinately handsome pop rockers Imagine Dragons have announced a single arena date in Milton Keynes as part of their world tour in support of newest album Mercury: Act One. This is your only chance to see the band in the UK next year, so grab a ticket fast and avoid that FOMO feeling.

Tickets for Imagine Dragons' UK date go on sale at 9am on Friday 19 November. Click here for performance dates and tickets.

Status Quo

Inventors of dad rock Status Quo have announced a series of huge arena shows at the end of next year, accompanied by very special guest Shakin' Stevens. As an aside, and in a jarring move from third- to first-person writing that's surely a contravention of The List's style guide, my dad claims that you can hear him heckling the Quo on one of their live albums from mid-1970s, and seems to believe that this makes him an honorary member of the band. He also claims it was the best gig he's ever been to, although admittedly he's only ever attended two (Genesis was the other one, in case you wondered). If that's not enough to persuade you to buy a ticket, frankly we don't know what is.

Tickets for Status Quo's winter arena shows go on sale at 10am on Friday 19 November. Click here for performance dates and tickets.

Beach House

Winner of the 'coolest band on this ticketing article' award Beach House have announced a handful of UK tour dates in support of their latest album Once Twice Melody. The chill atmosphere created by every Beach House record has always felt a little like slipping into a warm bath, and we can't wait to discover if they stir the same meditative emotions live.

Tickets for Beach House's UK dates go on sale at 10am on Friday 19 November. Click here for performance dates and tickets.

An Evening Inside No. 9 With Steve Pemberton & Reece Shearsmith

The stars of Inside No. 9 are hitting the road this winter for a deep dive into some of the show's best episodes. As the greatest anthology series on television, it'll be a delight to hear Pemberton and Shearsmith enthuse about Hitchcock, horror and general bleakness when most other people are topping up on the festive spirit.

Tickets for An Evening Inside No. 9 With Steve Pemberton & Reece Shearsmith go on sale at 10am on Friday 19 November. Click here for performance dates and tickets.

Two Pints Live! With Will Mellor & Ralf Little

There was a time when Two Pints Of Lager And A Packet Of Crisps seemed like a permanent fixture of night time telly. Repeats of the affably naff sitcom dominated the graveyard shift on BBC Three, creating an army of lad and laddette fans. Will Mellor and Ralf Little's podcast Two Pints! is capitalising on that fandom with their latest live tour, which promises plenty of behind the scenes anecdotes and good-spirited banter with the audience.

Tickets for Two Pints Live! With Will Mellor & Ralf Little go on sale at 9am on Friday 19 November. Click here for performance dates and tickets.

Pixies

The genre-defining masters of Gen X rock the Pixies will play one gig at Manchester's Castlefield Bowl next July. The grin-inducing bassline of 'Debaser', the 50s tinge of 'Here Comes Your Man', the discomfiting surrealism of 'Where Is My Mind?' – three reasons why you have to see the Pixies live before you kick the bucket, and they're only the tip of the iceberg.

Tickets for the Pixies gig in Manchester go on sale at 9.30am on Friday 19 November. Click here for performance dates and tickets.

Professor Green

Like Dr. Fox before him, Professor Green isn't actually a professor but a rapper, and an entertaining one too. Next year he'll be hitting the road to remind people what made him famous as he celebrates the 10-year anniversary of his album At Your Inconvenience. One for anyone who enjoys the pop side of British hip hop.

Tickets for Professor Green go on sale at 9am on Friday 19 November. Click here for performance dates and tickets.

Justin Bieber

Justin is once again ruling the airwaves and dominating the charts. He made radio history when his new single "Yummy" netted the highest number of official adds ever in a debut week. The track has now surged to over 300 million streams globally. Over the course of his career, Bieber has amassed ***over 50 billion**…
