Disney's The Lion King returns to The Edinburgh Playhouse in 2022: how to get tickets

The musical spectacular opens its doors in Edinburgh next June

Disney's The Lion King will return to The Edinburgh Playhouse next June. Tickets for the performances go on sale at 10am on Friday 3 December.

Featuring a cast of over 50 actors, singers and dancers, this long-running musical spectacle brings the classic movie to life with awe-inspiring special effects and a songbook featuring classics from Elton John and more.

These are the only performances of the Disney classic happening in Scotland next year, so book as soon as you can if you want to see Simba's iconic journey retold in this unique and impressive production.

Thursday 2 June-Saturday 2 July – Edinburgh Playhouse
