LCD Soundsystem to play string of shows in London this summer: how to get tickets

The legendary dance-rock band will headline O2 Academy Brixton in June and July

LCD Soundsystem have announced that they will perform in London this summer. Tickets go on sale at 10am on Friday 11 March.

The Brooklyn-born group have lined up a residency at Brixton's O2 Academy, running from Wednesday 29 June to Sunday 3 July this year. The series of shows marks the 20th anniversary of their first ever live shows in London.

After confirming their reunion and releasing new material for the first time in five years, the band embarked on an expanded tour in support of their 2017 studio album American Dream which features the Grammy Award-winning track 'Tonite'.

Their most recent release is 2019's EP Electric Lady Studio Sessions, a live studio album which includes covers of songs by the likes of Chic, the Human League and Heaven 17.
