Sigur Rós announce 2022 UK tour dates: how to get tickets

The Icelandic group will hit huge UK venues this November

Rock group Sigur Rós have confirmed a UK leg of their 2022 world tour. Tickets go on sale at 10am on Friday 18 March.

The announcement comes after the band revealed dates for performances in North America, Canada and Mexico. The 'Hoppípolla' performers have also confirmed a string of shows for Europe, hitting Portugal, Spain, Italy, Germany and more.

This will be the first time the group have toured in almost five years and the UK schedule kicks off at Manchester's O2 Apollo, calling at London's O2 Academy Brixton and the SEC Armadillo in Glasgow.

The indie-rock outfit are working on their first studio album since their 2013 record Kveikur, their ninth record since they debuted with Von in 1997.

Monday 7 November – O2 Apollo, Manchester
Thursday 10 November – O2 Academy Brixton, London
Friday 11 November – O2 Academy Brixton, London
Monday 14 November – SEC Armadillo, Glasgow

Tickets for Sigur Rós will go on sale at 10am on Friday 18 March.
