The Mercury Prize-winning indie band will play their 2012 debut album in full
Indie rockers Alt-J have announced that they will play a special anniversary show in London next month. Tickets go on sale at 10am on Friday 22 April.
The show at London's Brixton Academy will celebrate 10 years since the group released their debut album An Awesome Wave. They already have a trio of shows lined up at the venue but have introduced an anniversary performance which will showcase the album in full.
The seminal 2012 album introduced epic tracks such as 'Breezeblocks', 'Fitzpleasure', 'Matilda' and 'Something Good' to the music scene and launched the Leeds outfit to industry acclaim, securing them a prestigious British Mercury Prize.
The band are set to embark on their UK tour which includes the anniversary performance this May, calling at Glasgow, Leeds, Bristol, Nottingham, Manchester, Oxford, Belfast, Birmingham and Manchester.
