Arcade Fire announce gig at re-opening of London's KOKO this month: how to get tickets

The special headline show comes before the release of new album 'We'

Indie-rockers Arcade Fire have confirmed a gig at London's KOKO this month. Tickets go on sale at 12pm on Thursday 21 April.

The show comes in celebration of KOKO's grand reopening on Friday 29 April and will support the band's seventh studio album We, set to release on Friday 6 May. The Canadian group have already released two singles from the record including 'The Lightning I' and 'The Lightning II'.

The Camden High Street venue is set to reopen as a live music venue and broadcasting house after undergoing a £70 million restoration. Alongside Arcade Fire's headline show, KOKO will also welcome names such as Lianne La Havas, Chase & Status and Pete Doherty in the coming months.

This will be group's first live performance in the UK since 2018. Their last album was a collection of tracks from the original score of Spike Jonze's 2013 film Her. The record features collaborations with Owen Pallet and tracks such as 'Photograph' and 'Song On The Beach'.
