What'll be on George Ezra's setlist?

The folk-pop boy-next-door will undoubtedly showcase tunes from anticipated record Gold Rush Kid, including the already-released tracks 'Anyone For You' and 'Green Green Grass'. If you haven't heard either of them yet, read on to hear what's in store.

We expect he'll cherry-pick tracks from his well-loved catalogue of anthems which have dominated radio stations for almost a decade. Sophomore album, Staying At Tamara's, is abundant with exuberant earworms such as 'Shotgun', 'Hold My Girl' and 'Paradise'.

He'll also treat fans to songs from the album that shot him to stardom in 2014, the utterly charming Wanted On Voyage. The record that started it all is brimming with effervescent singles such as 'Blame It On Me', 'Barcelona', 'Cassy-O' and the international number one hit 'Budapest'.

What's George Ezra's latest release?

If he knows how to do something, it's create the perfect summer song. He's become a well-oiled summertime pop machine and his latest singles certainly don't disappoint. In the same vein as the ubiquitous 2018 hit 'Shotgun', 'Green Green Grass' and 'Anyone For You' are the kind of toe-tappers your mum will love.

'Green Green Grass' is the latter single to come from the 28 year old. It's a synth-heavy anthemic tune which literally describes the perfect summer day with 'green, green grass and blue, blue skies'. While it's not the most lyrically or compositionally complex creation, the happy-go-lucky and care-free tune is littered with remnants of his previous hits, especially 'Shotgun'. 'Anyone For You' has an early 2000s rom-com soundtrack vibe which is wonderfully reminiscent of Scouting For Girls.
