Courteeners announce homecoming gig at Heaton Park gig and reissue of St. Jude: how to get tickets

The indie rockers will play a huge show at the venue next summer to celebrate 15 years of their iconic debut album

Manchester rock group The Courteeners have announced a huge show at Manchester's Heaton Park next summer. Tickets go on sale at 9am on Friday 2 September.

The five-piece will headline the huge venue on Friday 9 June 2023 to celebrate the 15-year anniversary of their debut album St. Jude. Playing the iconic album in full, they'll be joined by special guests who are yet to be announced.

This will be the third time the group have performed at Heaton Park since their last performances in 2015 and 2019.

The 'Not Nineteen Forever' band will also reissue a remastered edition of the album, available on Friday 13 January in a variety of formats including LP, single LP, double CD and cassette.

The latest release to come from the Liam Fray-fronted outfit is 2020 album More. Again. Forever which follows 2018's remastered version of 2008's St. Jude.
