The international smash hit musical will run at the Edinburgh Playhouse next December
The hit musical Wicked has announced a run of tour dates in Edinburgh next winter. Tickets go on sale at 10am on Thursday 8 December.
Based on the acclaimed novel by Gregory Maguire, Wicked reimagines the destiny of characters from Frank L. Baum's beloved The Wonderful Wizard Of Oz, reshaping the future of Glinda The Good and the Wicked Witch Of The West to reveal an unlikely friendship.
Featuring celebrated songs such as 'Defying Gravity', 'For Good' and 'Popular', this unmissable show will hit Edinburgh on Thursday 7 December 2023 and will run until Sunday 14 January 2024. Deemed 'one of the most successful musicals of all time' by BBC News, this isn't one to miss.
Tickets are currently on sale for the show's run at the Apollo Victoria in London, where the musical is the ninth longest running in the city's history. Watched by over 60 million people worldwide and boasting over 100 awards, the production is a must-see for musical theatre lovers and novices alike.
