Tickets for Glasgow's Summer Nights concert series go on sale at 9am today

The music event at Kelvingrove Bandstand will include performances from Siouxsie, Del Amitri and more

The first wave of acts have been announced for Glasgow's summer concert series Summer Nights. Tickets go on sale at 9am today.

Post-punk icon Siouxsie, vocal powerhouse Anastacia, indie rock legends Del Amitri and more have all been announced as headliners for the Kelvingrove Park music event. Siouxsie will take to the Bandstand on Tuesday 25 July, followed by Anastacia and Kassidy on Wednesday 26 and Thursday 27.

Country duo The Shires will perform on Friday 28 July with singer Jack Savoretti in tow, followed by Del Amitri for two nights on Wednesday 2 and Thursday 3 August. The two-week concert series will conclude with performances from Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Squeeze, Sugababes, Callum Beattie, Glasvegas and The Delgados.
