Nile Rodgers & Chic, Kaiser Chiefs and Tom Jones are the first acts to be announced for the new London concert series Greenwich Summer Sounds. Tickets go on sale at 10am on Monday 13 March.

The event will take place at the Old Royal Naval College on the banks of the River Thames this summer. Funk legends Nile Rodgers & Chic will kick things off on Tuesday 4 July, with Welsh powerhouse icon Tom Jones performing on Thursday 6.

Leeds indie rockers Kaiser Chiefs are the third act to be announced and will perform on Saturday 8 July. The 'Ruby' group are set to headline a number of other festivals throughout the UK, including Lytham at the end of June.

Special support acts and one other headliner are due to be announced soon and tickets are currently priced from about £60 to £100. Check back here for updates.
