The physicist will headline venues in Edinburgh, Swansea and Oxford in February next year

Professor Brian Cox has announced a run of 2023 UK tour dates for Horizons: A 21st Century Space Odyssey. Tickets go on sale at 10am on Friday 12 May.

The prize-winning physicist and former musician will hit the road on Sunday 14 January next year, taking his Horizons tour to The Richmond Theatre before heading to The Princess Theatre in Torquay on Friday 2 February.

Other stops scheduled for the tour include Swansea Arena, The Waterside in Aylesbury, The Globe in Stockton, The New Wimbledon Theatre, The Regent Theatre in Stoke, The New Theatre in Oxford, The Milton Keynes Theatre, The Edinburgh Playhouse and The Leas Cliff Hall in Folkstone.

The author of The Quantum Universe will take audiences on a dazzling cinematic journey which uses state-of-the-art LED screen technology to help tell the story of how we came to be and what we can become.
