Singer to play nine dates at football stadiums in Scotland, England and Wales

**UPDATE** Rod Stewart has added a date at Nottingham's Capital FM Arena to his UK tour for 23 Jun. Tickets go on sale Fri 23 Oct at 9am.

British rocker Rod Stewart is set to play eight live dates in 2016 following the release of his latest album Another Country on Fri 30 Oct 2015.

Known as an avid football fan, who often kicks signed footballs into the audience during concerts, Stewart will play seven football stadiums and one cricket ground, The Ageas Bowl in Southampton, on his UK tour. He isn’t visiting his team’s ground at Celtic Park but will play two Scottish dates at stadiums in Kilmarnock and Inverness.

With five decades of music behind him Stewart has been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame twice, was appointed a CBE by the Queen in 2007 and has sold over 100 million albums and singles worldwide.
