Kensington Palace will host Chris Martin and other big names in a concert to raise money for Sentebale
Prince Harry has pulled out all the stops, booking Coldplay, Laura Mvula, George the Poet and Nico and Vinz for Sentebale’s charity concert at Kensington Palace in London.
The gig will be held on Tue 28 Jun in the palace gardens, fit for a crowd of around 3000 screaming fans. An impressive lineup means tickets are expected to be snapped up promptly, with all proceeds going to HIV/AIDS charity, Sentebale.
Alongside Prince Seisso, Harry founded the charity back in 2006 to support vulnerable adolescents living with HIV in sub-Saharan Africa. Money raised will help Sentebale organise their monthly Saturday clubs, caregiver days and residential week long camps at their recently opened Mamohato Children’s Centre.
More acts are to be announced soon but Coldplay said they were ‘delighted’ to join Prince Harry in supporting the ‘incredible’ work of Sentebale.
Coldplay play Kensington Palace, London on Tue 28 Jun. Tickets on sale Fri 27 May at 9am.
