Still Game Live returns to Glasgow's SSE Hydro

Still Game: Live 2 sees Jack, Victor, Isa and the gang back on stage in a brand new show

Following the excitement that the latest series of Scottish comedy Still Game will be back on our screens on Fri 7 Oct the show has announced they will return to the SSE Hydro for a second live show, Still Game: Live 2, in February 2017.

In autumn 2014 the duo of Ford Kiernan and Greg Hemphill (Osprey Height's Jack and Victor) got the band back together after a seven year hiatus for 21 live performances. The sell-out show featured Craiglang icons Isa, Winston, Tam, Boabby the barman, Navid, assorted 'wee neds' and even Stevie the bookie, much to Winston's annoyance.

First created by Kiernan and Hemphill back in 1999, the characters of Jack and Victor started life in a stage show and toured Scotland, England, Ireland and Canada. They later appeared as a recurring sketch in Chewin' the Fat before gaining their own series in 2002. They've since made six series, two Christmas specials, two Hogmanay specials and drank upteem pints in the Clansman.

Still Game Live was the first live show at the Hydro that brought a successful Scottish TV show to the stage, paving the way for the likes of Limmy and Gary Tank Commander.
