Led by Gavin Rossdale – coach on The Voice and ex-husband of Gwen Stefani – the group play six dates in September

90s rockers Bush have announced a UK tour for September 2017, with tickets on sale Fri 26 May at 9am.

The group split in 2002 but reformed in 2010, and have released three albums since. They're currently supporting Black and White Rainbows, which – released in March – is their first record since singer Gavin Rossdale joined Will.I.Am, Sir Tom Jones and Jennifer Hudson as a coach on ITV's The Voice.

During the 1990s, Bush were a gigantic proposition in the US, their grunge indebted sound selling millions of records and landing them a number 1 album with 1996's Razorblade Suitcase. Despite hailing from England, their stateside success never translated to the UK (remember Britpop?), and Gavin Rossdale is probably best known on these Islands as the former husband of former No Doubt singer and pop starlet, Gwen Stefani.

His new TV career might change that though, and Bush will take tracks from Black and White Rainbows, and their undeniably hook-laden back catalogue on tour in September, kicking off in London on Thu 21 Sep and rounding off in Manchester on Wed 27 Sep.

Bush UK tour dates September 2017:

O2 Forum Kentish Town, London – Thu 21 Sep
O2 Institute, Birmingham – Fri 22 Sep
Waterfront, Norwich – Sat 23 Sep
O2 Academy, Bristol – Mon 25 Sep
O2 ABC, Glasgow – Tue 26 Sep
O2 Ritz, Manchester – Wed 27 Sep

Tickets for Bush go on sale at 9am on Fri 26 May.
