Son of country legend Willie and his band, who've backed Neil Young on several world tours, to play Borderline this Autumn
Lukas Nelson and Promise of the Real have announced a show at London's Borderline on Wed 18 Oct, with tickets on sale Fri 30 Jun at 9am.
The singer-songwriter and his band are musical royalty: Lukas is the son of country music legend Willie Nelson, and Promise of the Real have ably backed Neil Young on several occasions, most recently bringing their propensity for a jam and note-perfect harmonies to Young's 2016 and 2017 world tours.
The band have released three studio albums – 2010's Promise of the Real, 2012's Wasted and 2016's Something Real, as well as collaborating with Young, and Lucas' brother Micah, on 2016's politically energized The Monsanto Years, a record which featured the Starbucks baiting 'A Rock Star Bucks A Coffee Shop'.
They come to London with a reputation for being one of the most hardworking groups in the business, no strangers to playing upwards of 200 shows in a year. They've managed to get the approval of Neil Young too, a man known for setting incredibly high standards. Fans of classic guitar playing, big hearted songwriting and lush harmonies, look no further.
Tickets for Lukas Nelson and Promise of the Real at London's Borderline go on sale Fri 30 Jun at 9am.
