Welsh rockers are supporting the release of their tenth album Scream About The Sounds

Stereophonics have announced a UK arena tour for 2018, with tickets on sale Fri 22 Sep at 9am.

The Welsh rockers are preparing the release of their tenth studio album Scream Above The Sounds, which is out next month, and will play five shows to celebrate its release.

The tour kicks off at Aberdeen's AECC Arena on Fri 23 Feb, drawing to a close at Bournemouth's BIC Windsor Hall on Mon 5 Mar.

Formed by childhood friends Kelly Jones (vocal, guitar) and Stuart Cable (drums) back in 1992 in the village of Cwmaman, the group were eventually joined by Richard Jones (no relation) on bass. After the success of their debut, Word Gets Around, and it's lead single The Bartender and the Thief, the group topped the charts with their following five albums.

Cable left the band in 2003 shortly after the release of You Gotta Go There To Come Back and tragically died in 2010. The current line-up includes Adam Zindani and Jamie Morrison.

With tracks like the number 1 smash hit 'Dakota', 'A Thousand Trees', 'Just Looking' and 'Maybe Tomorrow' in the repertoire, they're never short of entertaining. Don't miss out on tickets for this.
