Prolific Australian psychedelic rockers bring their formidable live show to the O2 Academy Brixton on Wed 21 Feb
King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard have announced their biggest ever show at London's O2 Academy Brixton on Wed 21 Feb. Presale tickets for the gig go on sale at 10am on Wed 18 Oct, tickets go on general sale at 10am on Fri 20 Oct.
The Australian psych-rockers, who formed in Melbourne in 2010, have developed a reputation as one of the most exciting guitar bands on the gig circuit anywhere.
A formidable live show isn't all they have on their side, the hard-working group have released 11 studio albums since 2012's debut 12 Bar Bruise.
2017 has been particularly busy for the seven-piece, who have released three albums so far in that time, Flying Microtonal Banana, Murder of the Universe, and Sketches of Brunswick East. The jazz influenced latter release is a collaboration with Mild High Club, who'll also be performing on the night.
Presale tickets for King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard go on sale on Wed 18 Oct at 10am. Tickets go on general sale on Fri 20 Oct at 10am.
