Indie rockers to celebrate their Mercury Prize winning debut album with a nationwide tour
Gomez have announced a UK tour in celebration of the twentieth anniversary of their album Bring It On. Presale tickets go on sale at 9am on Wed 25 Oct. Tickets go on general sale at 9am on Fri 27 Oct.
The group kick off the run of shows at Brighton Dome on Tue 24 Apr. They travel to Nottingham, Glasgow, Leeds, Manchester and Bristol, before finishing up at London's Royal Albert Hall on Thu 3 May.
Released in April 1998, the band's debut album gathered momentum, before beating the likes of Massive Attack, Pulp, Robbie Williams and Catatonia to the Mercury Music Prize.
Featuring the singles 'Whippin' Piccadilly' and 'Get Myself Arrested', it's still their biggest success to date, and rolling back the years for the tour, they're sure to make a lot of people very happy.
