James Murphy's iconic group bring tracks from American Dream and beyond back to Scotland after the success of their sold out Barrowlands gigs
LCD Soundsystem have announced a Glasgow show at SWG3 Galvaniser's Yard on Sun 27 May. Tickets go on general sale Fri 17 Nov at 9am.
James Murphy and his band recently returned to the world of live performance after disbanding in 2011. The recently released fourth album American Dream followed shortly after, with a run of hugely popular UK dates (including two loud, sweaty and magical nights at Glasgow's Barrowland Ballroom).
They return to Glasgow in May, topping the bill at one of the city's newest venues, which has already played host to The XX and Perfume Genius, and is surely set to welcome more exciting names in the months and years to come.
With tracks from American Dream and beyond, including the anthem 'All My Friends', 'Tribulations' and 'Losing My Edge', Murphy and co are set to kick off the Glasgow summer in style. The shows are not to be missed.
