James Murphy and his hugely popular band will play tracks from American Dream and beyond at the O2 Apollo on Wed 6 Jun
LCD Soundsystem have announced a headline show at Manchester's O2 Apollo on Wed 6 Jun. Tickets for the show go on general sale at 9am on Fri 1 Dec.
Having announced summer shows in London and Glasgow, James Murphy and his band will return to the north of England, with special guests still to be announced, this summer.
The group released their highly anticipated fourth album American Dream earlier this year, the first new music following Murphy's decision to reform the band. Featuring the tracks 'Call The Police', 'Tonite' and 'Oh Baby', it was their first chart topper in America, reaching number 3 in the UK album charts.
The new tracks have slotted in perfectly with a live set that's recently been featuring the group's breakthrough single, the irresistible 'Losing My Edge', as well as established favourites like the classic 'All My Friends', the first album's back to back double header of 'Tribulations' and 'Movement', and the pulsating 'Dance Yrself Clean'. It's a special live show, and it's coming to Manchester again.
