Simple Minds and The Pretenders have announced a joint UK tour for 2018. Tickets go on sale at 9am on Wed 13 Dec.
The Grand Slam tour will see the two bands joined by a very special guest, KT Tunstall. Simple Minds and The Pretenders will both play separate headline shows in Leeds, on Fri 3 Aug and Sat 11 Aug, but the bill will otherwise travel together throughout August and September 2018.
Simple Minds have just released their 18th studio album, Walk Between Worlds, and will perform songs from that record, plus classics like '(Don't You) Forget About Me' and 'Alive and Kicking'.
Led by Chrissie Hynde, The Pretenders released their 10th studio album, Alone, in 2016, and will surely dig out hits like 'Brass In Pocket' for the Grand Slam tour.
