Liam Gallagher headlines RiZE Festival in 2018
Liam Gallagher and Stereophonics headline the event at Hylands Park on Fri 17 and Sat 18 Aug
Liam Gallagher and Stereophonics have been confirmed as headliners for the first ever RiZE Festival, which takes place at Hylands Park in Chelmsford on Fri 17 and Sat 18 Aug. Tickets for the event go on sale at 9.30am on Fri 2 Mar.
Featuring the very best in indie, pop, urban and dance music, the festival takes place at the former site of V Festival.
Headlining the Friday night is Liam Gallagher, the big mouthed former Oasis frontman, still hiding high on the incredible success of his debut solo album As You Were. He returns to the spot where Oasis played their final gig (until the inevitable reunion, somewhere down the line).
The following evening Stereophonics take the stage for yet another Festival headline show. The band released their tenth studio album Scream Above The Sounds last year, 20 years on from their debut Word Gets Around.
Performing across the weekend are Manic Street Preachers, Bastille, Craig David's TS5, and the hat-wearing pop rock menace James Bay. Rag'n'Bone Man brings his extraordinary voice to the party, as does rising Scottish star Lewis Capaldi, who has gone from tiny venues up north to European tours with Sam Smith in a heartbeat.
