An Edinburgh institution, the Bongo Club is part of the Out of the Blue family, and is settled in its current situation on the Cowgate. The venue is renowned for its long-running club nights, such as Mumbo Jumbo, but also puts on live music, spoken word, exhibitions and other events.
The Bongo Club is on the Cowgate, just off the Royal Mile, and served by a number of Lothian buses passing close by on South Bridge, including the 3, N3, 5, 7, 8, 14, 29, X29, 30, N30, 31, X31, 33, 37, N37, X37, 35, 45, 49, 51 and N3. The venue is about 10 minutes walk from Waverley Train Station.
