A former Georgian church (1823), The Queen's Hall is a mid-sized live music venue hosting musicians from across all genres: rock 'n' pop, classical, jazz, blues and folk, as well as comedy and spoken word acts in over 200 events per year. Current home to the Scottish Chamber Orchestra, QH hosts the Edinburgh International Festival Morning Recitals throughout August. Standing capacity is 900, with slightly lower numbers for seated gigs, whether this be in rows or at cabaret tables. Fully accessible for wheelchair users – both audience members and performers. Fully licensed bar open for ticket holders serving hot and cold drinks.
Located in Edinburgh’s Southside, a 20 min walk from Waverley Station, 10 mins from the Royal Mile and 5 mins from the University. Served by buses 2, 3, 5, 8, 29, 30, 33, 49.
