Sunflower Bar

The Sunflower is a Belfast legend, down to the Troubles-era security cage around its main entrance, which the current owners keep on for sentimental rather than terror-prevention reasons. Before 2012 it was called The Tavern, but it's now a colourful centre for craft beer and live music, tucked away down a side street in the middle of the city centre.

It serves wood-fired pizza courtesy of the boys from Boxing Hare, and being south-facing it has a beer garden which gets the sun on bright days.
