Built in 1895 Blackheath Halls, along with the Conservatoire of Music and the School of Art, is part of the oldest surviving purpose built cultural complex in London. In its lengthy history it has played host to Sir Ernest Shakleton, George Bernard Shaw and Suffragette rallies. Today it offers a programme of classical concerts, both orchestral and chamber perfromances, as well as folk/world events, live comedy and family shows.
Blackhalls are two minutes walk from Blackheath rail station. There is ample parking in the Station Car Park but no parking at the Halls themselves.
